Warmer Homes Scotland Self-Assessment

Warmer Homes Scotland, funded by the Scottish Government, aims to make energy saving home improvements for people who are struggling to keep warm or with the cost of their energy bills. You could be eligible for energy saving home improvements, including central heating systems, renewables and insulation, to make your home warmer, more comfortable, and more affordable to heat.

Check your eligibility using this self-assessment tool and, if the tool suggests that you are eligible, you can submit a self-assessment.

Once you submit a self-assessment, you will receive an email to confirm that we’ve received it, and we will be in touch as soon as we can to confirm your details and that you are happy for us to progress your application.

Please note: Completion of this Warmer Homes Scotland self-assessment tool does not guarantee that your application will be successful. All applications are subject to an eligibility survey and the availability of Scottish Government funding.

Please complete this form to the best of your knowledge. To be eligible for Warmer Homes Scotland you must be:

  • Age 16 years old or over
  • Resident in Scotland
  • A homeowner or private sector tenant in Scotland who have lived in their home for at least 6 months

If anyone in your household is in receipt of benefits, please ensure that this application is filled out by that person, or in their name. However, if the benefit recipient is under 16 years old or unable to be the named householder due to a disability, please fill out the application in the main householder's name.
