Important notes

To be eligible for Warmer Homes Scotland, you must be:

• Over the age of 16
• A resident of Scotland
• A homeowner or private sector tenant in Scotland who has lived in their home for at least 6 months

In addition, you should either be:

• in receipt of benefits
• the main householder, if the person that receives benefits in your household is aged under 16 or is unable to be the named householder because of a disability
• aged over 75 with no working central heating; or
• be in receipt of SR1/DS1500/BASRiS (issued to people with a terminal illness).

Warmer Homes Scotland does not offer replacements for LPG or oil boilers, double-glazing, or uPVC doors, however, your home will be assessed for other options.
